I finished the first draft of my manuscript a couple of days ago. I felt really strongly about it, like this was the one that would get me published.
Well, what do you know? Less than 48 hours later, I was laying in bed when my muse decided to smack me around a little bit. Suddenly I got some ideas on how to make what I thought was a pretty good story a hundred times better.
What's the problem? I'm going to be rewriting a good portion of the book. I've laid my groundwork, but there will be a lot of changes that will ultimately make this a better story.
Just when I thought I was done...time to go back and make it better!
